1. Client Journeys

  • D had a vision for an innovative new product and wanted to build a company to fulfill that vision.  D assembled a small team of loyal and talented people to design and build this product.  Initially, D wanted to build using no code solutions that were freely available to reduce costs and speed time to market.  However when we looked at the problem we realized that the nature of the data was high risk.  Resultantly, D redesigned the product.  D then asked that various policies and contracts be drafted to facilitate the business.

  • T had a great deal of experience in the crypto space and wanted to patent a new method that facilitates crypto exchanges of value.  We looked at T's initial idea and helped to plan out a strategy to protect the Intellectual Property.

  • A is a realtor with a ton of experience.  Given the recent NAR decision that came down, A wasn't sure how the decision might impact seller's agents.  We talked about what it could mean to A and eventually drafted some additional contract amendments to protect A's interests when representing real estate clients.

  • B is an inventor who had built a powerful AI based tool that interacts with social media.  B had also gone through a messy divorce and wanted to make sure that releasing this product would not impact any of the agreed upon terms of the dissolution.

  • M is a large technology company that was negotiating data handling terms with R, a competitor/partner for an agreement that involved low risk data.  We were able to reach an agreement where all the parties were satisfied and legal compliance obligations were met.

  • D is a partner at a large financial company.  D wanted to create a platform to facilitate financial accounting and tax.  The financial firm had never undertaken this type of project before and asked for help in dealing with the legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.  We set up best practices to faciliate development.  We met with the SEC to ensure that the libraries we were using were not problematic.  We worked to make sure that the product use was OFAC compliant.  We adopted the Scaled Agile Framework to ensure that the appropriate security and privacy practices were baked into the product.

  • E was a large ecommerce company that needed to pass a series of audits for the first time.  We worked with the team to make sure they were prepared and had the right evidence.  E passed with flying colors.

  • There are many more stories of clients ranging from very large multinational transactions to smaller pro-bono cases where we were able to help our clients be successful.  We can help you too.
